Teaching and Outreach

I currently mentor four ASU undergraduates, each with independent projects. I am also a Graduate Instructor at UA Science: Sky School, an inquiry-based k-12 science program. Previous outreach experiences include:

  • Mentoring four senior thesis students, UC Santa Cruz (2012-2016)
  • Organizing a weed pulling workshop on UC Santa Cruz campus (2015)
  • Designing and leading two workshops for middle school girls on seed dispersal, Expanding your Horizons Conference (2014)
  • One-on-one weekly science fair mentoring with a high school student (2013)
